”I have made you a light for the Gentiles to bring salvation to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 13:34b, HCSB)

WORLD LEADER - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Please pray today for Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt of Sweden (northwestern Europe, between Norway and Finland).

NEW LABORERS FOR THE HARVEST - “Totally His, totally committed.” As the newest IMB missionaries were appointed last month, their testimonies gave witness to the power of God’s call on their lives. Calling them out from all types of backgrounds, from across the United States, and from various stages of life, God has equipped them to be His heart, hands, and voice among the nations. Thank God for each one, and praise Him for how He plans to use them in the coming months and years in their new homes. Pray that the harvest will be deeply impacted by their commitment to be totally His.

SOUTHERN CONE CONNECTORS: ARGENTINA, CHILE, PARAGUAY AND URUGUAY - On June 7, adults and youth will once again gather to pray for the city of Valparaiso, Chile, in the aftermath of the worst fire in the city’s history, in which 2,900 homes were destroyed. Praise God for the relief efforts that were carried out after the terrible fire in April. Pray that Christians will continue to minister faithfully through the winter months (it is winter in the Southern Hemisphere). Ask the Lord to send more laborers to the harvest.
