(Isaiah 60:3, HCSB) WORLD LEADER - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Please pray today for Prime Minister Viktor Orban of Hungary (eastern Europe, between Austria and Romania). AMERICAN PEOPLES - For a long time, Pastor Louis* has dreamed of opening a training center for leaders from indigenous people groups on his plantain plantation. In November he, along with an IMB missionary and his team, hosted the first session of leadership training for indigenous Christians on this plantation in the northwest corner of Colombia. Thank God for the vision that He has placed on Louis’ heart and for opening the door for this first teaching session! Pray that the indigenous believers who attended will put into practice what they have learned and will grow in the Lord, and ask that they, as well as others, will have future opportunities for training, growth and outreach. (*pseudonym) MONGOLS OF OUTER MONGOLIA (MON-gols) - A group of visiting believers will brave the cold of Mongolia to bring the light of Jesus to those in darkness. These young people will spend their time sharing the true meaning of Christmas in schools and other settings. Please ask God to cause them to walk through the doors that He will open to share the Gospel, and pray that He will be pleased to bring souls into His kingdom.
