"The Word became flesh and took up residence among us. We observed His glory, the glory as the One and Only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth." (John 1:14, HCSB)

WORLD LEADER - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Please pray today for President Hasan Fereidun Ruhani of Iran (southwestern Asia, between Iraq and Pakistan).

SUB-SAHARAN AFRICAN PEOPLES. There is instability in Juba, the capital of South Sudan. Please pray for South Sudan. Thank God that our personnel are not near the danger. Petition for the safety of those whom we dearly love and partner with who are in a more precarious position. Much work has been done in South Sudan so that the Gospel can be shared. Please intercede for this nation that is “white unto harvest.”

CHINESE PEOPLE OF THE AMERICAS - God is at work, calling out Latino believers to work among the East Asian people! Eleven single Brazilian missionaries left at the end of October to spend three years ministering among the unengaged unreached people groups (UUPGs) of East Asia. Four other Brazilian families are currently in the training process to deploy to East Asia in early 2014 to work among the UUPGs there. Please pray for the Brazilian missionaries who have already gone to East Asia and those who are preparing to go soon. Please intercede for other Brazilian and Latino nationals who are also responding to God’s call on their lives to work among Asians in Brazil, Latin America, and the Caribbean. The need is great, and the laborers are few, but as God calls out these Latino nationals to work in the harvest, many more can be reached for Christ.

SAUDI ARABS OF SAUDI ARABIA (SAU-dee) - An estimated 70,000 Saudis are studying in the United States and Canada. Many are curious about Santa Claus and Christmas trees, but few understand the real reason for our Christmas celebrations. Please pray that believers across North America will invite Saudis into their homes this Christmas season, demonstrate the love of Jesus, and share why Jesus came. Will you prayerfully consider connecting with Saudi students in your town?
