Life Eternal Asian Fellowship is a new church, located in a Toronto suburb that is home to thousands of South Asians. Recently people from Kuwait, Afghanistan and China have attended. The group is led by Pastor R, whose wife and children are still in Pakistan. They anticipate visa approvals by the end of the year and to reunite as a family soon thereafter. These concerns weigh on Pastor R’s heart, but Christmas outreach activities joyfully occupy his time. Workers are excited to report a new Hokkien church start in Southeast Asia that has had three people accept Christ. Church M and those involved in a Hokkien ministry in Southeast Asia covet your prayers as they continue to reach out and to train leaders. New work is beginning among Arab men in a large multi-ethnic city of the United Kingdom. A believer is using his skills in woodworking to meet and build relationship with men of other faiths. He is a man of integrity and one who strives to give his best in whatever task he accepts. There is a young, fragile house church in the Last Frontier in which most of the members have been followers of Jesus for less than a year. While rejoicing in their salvation, there is also great challenge involved in training them to be fruitful for long-term ministry. * Please pray that the Holy Spirit will convict many in Toronto through the Christmas outreach efforts of Life Eternal Asian Fellowship so that they will believe in Jesus. * Pray for mature believers who are helping Hokkien congregations and Last Frontier groups that they will be intentional in equipping these young-in-the-faith followers, and that they will all be obedient to follow Jesus despite much opposition. * Pray that the Arab men who encounter this man of integrity will seek to know the foundation for his commitment and faith. |
