“Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?” (Jeremiah 32:27, NKJV)

WORLD LEADER - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2, NKJV). Please pray for Prime Minister Abdelillah Benkirane of Morocco (northwestern Africa).

JAHANKA OF SENEGAL, GUINEA AND THE GAMBIA (jah-HONK-kay) - Pray for Bobby* and Chuck*, two Jahanka brothers who began following Christ about a year ago. They are about 20 years old, and have been helping to support their mother and seven younger siblings since their father abandoned them several years ago. They are studying God’s Word for one to two hours each day with a worker. Both of them are being taught how to lead a small discipleship group in their town, a group of which their mother is a part. Pray for the rest of their family, asking that they will also choose to follow Christ. Ask God to meet the physical needs of this family and to help Chuck and Bobby in their Christian growth. Pray for Chuck as he completes his education, asking that doors will open for him to find steady work. God has given Bobby an interest in ministering in a local prison; pray for him as he takes the next steps in that direction. (*names changed)

SPANIARDS OF NORTHERN SPAIN (SPAN-yurds) - A parent and worker living in Spain writes: “Sometimes I assume that other children understand basic concepts the way mine do, but if they don’t have a family that is talking about faith issues, that may not be the case. At Christmas, due to funds provided through a special gift, we were able to host a children’s Christmas party with children from our school. We had cookies, we created special Bible-based coloring books, and we told the Christmas story with an old-fashioned felt board. As we talked about Jesus in Spanish, we stated that Jesus came to rescue us from our sins. One child asked, ‘What’s that--sin?’ We explained to 27 children what sin was and how Christ saves us from it. Please pray for these children and for their parents, with whom we have good relationships, as we continue to share the power of the gospel. We are so thankful for the resources that churches give in order to help us proclaim the truth!”
