Prayer requests on the website are updated every Monday-Friday at 9:30 a.m., EST February 6, 2015 “It shall come to pass that before they call, I will answer; And while they are still speaking, I will hear.” (Isaiah 65:24, NKJV) WORLD LEADER - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2, NKJV). Please pray for Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic of Montenegro (southeastern Europe between the Adriatic Sea and Serbia). AMAZON PEOPLES IN COLOMBIA (AM-uh-zahn) - An IMB missionary will begin a weekly Bible study group in the home of a Huitoto woman starting in February. Pray that this will not only get off the ground and take off, but that many women from this unengaged, unreached people group will trust the Lord as a result. Pray that the missionary will be able to express her heart and God’s heart clearly in Spanish as she ventures into ministry on her own. EAST ASIAN PEOPLES - “Binzhou City, Shandong, is known for its rapid economic and industrial development and is rich in natural resources, but Christians number less than one in every 400 residents. Pray that the Savior’s name will rapidly be made known. Join our February 9 Day of Prayer and Fasting for Binzhou, Shandong province. The profile is posted all month on the website in English, Chinese and Korean.” For additional prayer requests, click here: Today’s Prayer (If you have difficulty with this link, please go to www.imb.org and click on the “Pray” tab, and then click on the “Today’s Prayer” tab.) |
