Prayer requests on the website are updated every Monday-Friday at 9:30 a.m., EST February 5, 2015 “(God our Savior) desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” (1 Timothy 2:4, NKJV) WORLD LEADER - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2, NKJV). Please pray for Prime Minister Norov Altankhuyag of Mongolia (north of China). FULANI OF WESTERN NIGER (foo-LAH-nee) - The Western Niger Fulani enjoy music. Herder boys play flutes made from grass reeds. Sometimes men will play thumb harps or turn hollowed gourds upside down to use like drums. The body of Christ among the Fulani is growing. Instead of using Americanized church songs translated into their language of Fulfulde, some believers are eager to have Fulani-created songs. Please pray this month as Fulani believers meet together with Tom, an IMB missionary and ethno-musicologist, to learn more about writing their own worship songs. Pray that the songs will be heartfelt and will communicate to nonbelievers about the truths of faith in Christ. Praise God for Western Niger Fulani believers and their desire to praise God in song! Pray for these songs to be an encouragement to Fulani believers for many years to come. ISHELHAYN BERBERS OF NORTHERN AFRICA (ISH-el-haine) - Believing husbands and wives have begun meeting together for the first time. This is a big step forward for the work of planting established churches in this part of the world. Thank God for what He is doing among the Ishelhayn Berbers, and ask for protection for these families as the fledgling church starts to spread its wings!
