| Prayer requests on the website are updated every Monday-Friday at 9:30 a.m., EST February 14, 2014 “The LORD is far from the wicked, but He hears the prayer of the righteous.” (Proverbs 15:29) WORLD LEADERS - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Please pray today for Prime Minister Najib Razak of Malaysia (southeastern Asia). FULAKUNDA OF SENEGAL, GUINEA-BISSAU AND THE GAMBIA (GAMBIA FOO-lah-KOON-dah) - “Love doesn’t mean the same thing here. Most marriages are arranged, and there are men who do not take care of their wives. Please pray for some of the women we have been in contact with. Pray for Jennifer*, whose husband does not care for her. She is seeking our Father’s love. Pray for Eve*, who recently joined our family with the consent of her husband. Ask that she will receive training in Bible stories, and pray for her baby who is coming very soon! Pray for Hannah*, who is reading and learning about our Father’s love, but who has not yet decided to follow Jesus. Pray for all of these women as they seek our Father, asking that they will come to know what love really means.” (*pseudonyms) TURKMEN AND UZBEKS OF NORTHERN AFGHANISTAN (TUNA) (TURK-man, OOZ-bek) - Pray for singles working in difficult places. This is a place where single adults are questioned continually about their singleness. Both single adult women and single adult men are restricted culturally, and sometimes important opportunities are limited. Pray that they will be encouraged daily to press on.
