You are my helper and my deliverer; my God, do not delay.” (Psalm 40:16-17, HCSB) Hi, this is Eleanor Witcher of IMB’s prayer office, asking you to pray for continued growth as newly redeemed believers are baptized. Two missionary families with young children have begun work among the Dinka of South Sudan. Recently 75 Dinka were baptized. As you know from news reports, the country of South Sudan is in great turmoil. These new believers and young families need encouragement as they persevere through times of confusion and distress.  Life Eternal Asian Fellowship in Canada is praising the Lord for their first baptism. Brother Don* is now growing in faith and desires that his testimony will be used by God. Also, four Sikh men heard the words of Jesus from the Sermon on the Mount, and enjoyed music performed by four brothers in Christ who met with them at the Sikh temple in a Toronto suburb.  Since 2010, intercessors have been praying for a church-planting project that involves raising pigs and teaching rural villagers how to raise them effectively. While teaching these agricultural techniques, the national church planter has been able to share the Gospel, lead people to the Lord, and baptize them. Praise God that today there is a church and more than 50 baptized believers. * Please pray and keep on praying for these believers in the Last Frontier as they share with neighboring villages and in the district south of them, asking for a multiplication of believers and house churches in 2014.  * Ask the Holy Spirit to draw these four Sikh men to salvation, revealing Jesus as the true Teacher who alone brings us to God.  * Pray for missionaries and Dinka believers to have a deep awareness that the Lord is thinking of them, helping, and delivering them.
