| Prayer requests on the website are updated every Monday-Friday at 9:30 a.m., EST February 5, 2014 “LORD, I have called daily upon You; I have stretched out my hands to You.” (Psalm 88:9b) WORLD LEADERS - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Please pray today for Prime Minister Klaus Tschuetscher of Liechtenstein (central Europe, between Switzerland and Austria). KOLKATA, INDIA (kohl-KAH-tah) - “During the month of February, we will be working with national partners on a strategic project to determine where the church is and where the church is not. This is a very important project for the future of the work in West Bengal. Pray that God will use this to give vision, help in strategic planning, and create initiative in taking the Gospel to unreached areas.” SUB-SAHARAN AFRICAN PEOPLES - “Those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31b, HCSB). During this time of violence and uncertainty in South Sudan, please pray for a displaced IMB family that had made their home in Juba. Ask the Prince of Peace to bring peace to this country and to this family. Pray especially that their children will not be afraid and that they will be able to continue in their schoolwork and establish routines. Petition our Father to keep them healthy and give them strength as they wait upon Him.
