“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” (1Thessalonians 5:16-18)

WORLD LEADERS - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Please pray today for President Dioncounda Traore of Mali (western Africa).

CHINESE PEOPLE OF THE AMERICAS - Please pray for the approximately 3,000 Chinese believers who recently met at a missions conference in Baltimore, Maryland. As they have now returned to their homes and churches across the United States, pray that God will give them clarity as to how they each should move forward in their ministries as they look to hasten the completion of the Great Commission in our lifetime!

DESERT PEOPLE OF NORTHERN AFRICA - While sharing life with the people of the desert, believers inevitably also share in the joys and losses experienced almost on a daily basis. Such is true of one believer who developed a close friendship with a desert man. After spending countless hours drinking tea into the night, and sharing the truth of the Father, the believer lost his elderly father. This deep loss provided an opportunity to share about the assurance that believers have to face eternity. This man hasn’t yet believed, so ask the Father for his eyes to be opened and for him to be able to exclaim with the Scriptures: “Death has been swallowed up in victory. Death, where is your victory? Death, where is your sting?” (1 Corinthians 15:54-55).
