| Prayer requests on the website are updated every Monday-Friday at 9:30 a.m., EST February 17, 2014 “All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the LORD. All the families of the nations will bow down before You, for kingship belongs to the LORD; He rules over the nations.” (Psalm 22:27-28) WORLD LEADERS - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Please pray today for President Abdulla Yameen of Maldives (southern Asia, south of India). EUROPEAN PEOPLES - Baptist representatives serving among European peoples covet your intercession. Pray with earnestness and fervency for their ministries to be effective. Intercede for open doors to share the Gospel among Europeans and for open hearts to receive it. Petition that every Baptist representative will have the courage to share the Good News boldly, as well as sensitivity regarding how to approach each individual they meet in order to make the message personal and culturally appropriate. Pray that they will be good stewards of the results of the prayers you say on their behalf. LOMWE OF MALAWI AND MOZAMBIQUE (LOHM-way) - “In October, our Lomwe Team asked you to pray for Village M, as the participants were nearing the end of nine months of chronological Bible teaching. We rejoice to report that since you prayed, the first seven believers have been baptized in two separate services. Praise the Lord! Two of these have come out of Islam. There are several others who have made decisions but are not quite ready to be baptized.
