Team West Africa Paris writes: “Rejoice, for in recent weeks, the Lord has brought five men out of darkness and into His light! One diligently sought out a worker on our team (which has almost never happened) to hear the Truth. After the worker shared with the man and then had a believer from the same people group share in their mother tongue to confirm that he understood, the man accepted the Truth. A meeting was scheduled with the worker, the brother who had shared, and this new man to further study the Word. By the time the meeting occurred days later, the new man had found two others who were interested. At the end of the meeting, all prayed to accept Jesus as their Savior. Since then, they have shared openly, fearlessly and obediently, and have found two others who have accepted!” They have already begun to suffer persecution in the form of mocking and threats.  Visiting believers recently came and worked among the Torch people of East Asia. On one occasion, they were able to share with three men sitting on the side of the road. The three men listened intently to the message. Later one of the men’s wives asked many questions concerning their faith. In the end, the three men, the wife, and a daughter believed. This could be the start of a new church among the Torch people! * Please pray that these West African men and five East Asians will continue to be bold in their witnessing and that they’ll see a bountiful harvest as a result of their faithfulness.  * Pray that they’ll meet together regularly to encourage one another, pray, study the Word, and worship the Lord.  * Pray that believers will put off the fear and shame that keeps them from openly following and sharing Jesus.
