After two years of requesting and waiting for proper permissions from governments, 3,750 Study Bibles arrived in Cuba to put into the hands of pastors and lay missionaries. These Study Bibles will help the leaders better prepare to guide their churches and house churches. Scripture is essential to the doctrinal foundation of new believers.  In answer to your prayers for the summer distribution project in the United Kingdom, there are now three new believers--two from the Middle East and one from North Africa. Mature believers are following up with them and beginning the discipleship process.  Despite language barriers, sweet connections were made by student teams. Some female members participated in a “pampering time” for several Northern African and Middle Eastern (NAME) women, where one tearfully shared how in her 12 years out of her homeland, she had never felt such love. The student teams covered areas with their prayers, and local believers look forward expectantly to what God will do. They distributed more than 1,000 pieces of biblical material to more than 350 people. The materials consisted of DVDs of Old Testament prophets or Mary Magdalene, the “JESUS” film, and copies of the New Testament. The male members of the team traveled to eight surrounding cities, conducting research. Their well-documented efforts will facilitate strategy for future teams. The women on the team also assisted in a women’s activity survey that identified more than 40 new contacts and phone numbers.  * Please praise God for the fruit He has granted among these Northern African and Middle Eastern peoples. * Intercede for each of these new believers in the UK, asking that God will open their hearts and minds to His Word and that they will continue to grow in their walk with Him. * Ask God to also provide Bibles for the thousands in Cuba who are coming to Christ and meeting in groups that may have only one Bible among them.
