March 3, 2014 "I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.” (1 Timothy 2:8) WORLD LEADERS - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Please pray today for Prime Minister Iurie Leanca of Moldova (eastern Europe, northeast of Romania). Prayer requests from Eddie W. Cox, director of IMB’s Office of Global Prayer Strategy, to “Today’s Prayer” intercessors: Thank you for clicking through to “Today’s Prayer” and praying with me.  Please continue to pray for the 135 missionary adults and 43 missionary kids participating in IMB’s pre-field departure orientation at IMB’s International Learning Center in Rockville, Va. They are fast approaching their commissioning service, March 19. May they finish well, finish strong. I also ask you to pray for them as they say their goodbyes to family and friends. Pray also for parents and grandparents as they watch their loved ones fly off to distant lands. As usual, we have a myriad of events scheduled for this month. Ask for God’s special touch of blessing on each one.
