“Leave the children alone, and don’t try to keep them from coming to Me, because the kingdom of heaven is made up of people like this.” (Matthew 19:14)

WORLD LEADERS - Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Please pray today for President Benigno Aquino III of the Philippines (southeastern Asia, east of Vietnam).

FULBE FUTA (FOUTA) JALON OF GUINEA (FUL-bay/FOO-tuh jah-LONE) - “For more than 10 years we have lived in a village, sharing Christ. During that time, we have seen God move many times. One time the Lord used us to heal someone through prayer. That miracle created more fear than it did openness to the Gospel. It was very much like the miracle of Jesus in Luke 8:26-39, where the people asked Jesus to leave them because ‘they were overcome with fear.’ There is no church in this village that we have called home for all these years, and now the Lord is leading us away. We do not like transitions, but they are part of following Jesus. Pray for us during the next few months as we transition to a new place of service. We want to embrace and rejoice in this transition. Worse than a transition would be staying in our ‘comfort zone’ and out of the will of God.”

GURAGE OF ETHIOPIA (goo-ra-gay) - For the last several weeks, some believers have been traveling to livestock markets periodically to look for good-quality goats to purchase for future distribution to rural women and their families. Little by little, they are finding female goats that fit the necessary requirements. Thank God that the believers can give these to poor women, visit them, provide veterinary care, and pray for their family’s needs. Pray that the hearts of family members and neighbors will be open to the Good News of Jesus. Ask that the herds will increase and provide economically for the families even as the women return one kid (baby goat) to the program for future use.
