Make me walk in the path of Your commandments, For I delight in it.” (Psalm 119:34-35, NASB) Hi, this is Eleanor Witcher of IMB’s prayer office, joining you in prayer for the dissemination of the Word of God. Throughout 2014, as part of a three-phase plan to plant churches in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, workers will be distributing copies of the Gospel of John to more than 18,000 people living in 7,500 homes.  The Affinity Mobilization Paraguay Team coordinated distribution copies of written testimonies to 1,500 people over the last three months. These included a salvation message, a contact e-mail address, and a contact number for text messages.  In South Asia, thousands have viewed the “God’s Stories” film series, which has been created with a particular religion and worldview in mind. Beginning with Adam and Eve and the story of Creation and the Fall, the series tells the story of God's love and redemption through the lives of several major prophets, culminating in the story of the Savior (to be released later this year). The potential is for millions to view the films and be drawn to salvation. Mouna* shared a taxi in Tunisia with a believing woman and heard a story from the Word. She was interested in spiritual things, but had never read the Bible because she didn’t have one. When the believer asked if she would read one, Mouna said that she would. Later, the believer visited her home and gave her a Bible, which she began reading immediately.  * Please pray for the Spirit to move powerfully through His Word so that it will cut to hearts and bring conviction and repentance to southern Tunisian Arabs. * Pray specifically that God will call out a man or a woman to serve two years in a key position, coordinating the translation, dubbing and distribution of the “God’s Stories” into multiple languages throughout South Asia. * Intercede for the people of Paraguay and the Netherlands that their hearts will be pierced by the testimonies and Scripture portions shared. *pseudonym
