| Prayer requests on the website are updated every Monday-Friday at 9:30 a.m., EST April 16, 2014 “Ask of Me, and I will make the nations Your inheritance and the ends of the earth Your possession.” (Psalm 2:8) WORLD LEADERS - Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Please pray today for Governor Victoria Treadwell of Pitcairn Islands (Oceania, midway between Peru and New Zealand). LAST FRONTIER - “The local university leadership is intentional about keeping students so busy that they don’t have time to consider things like religion or beliefs outside of the classroom. We find it increasingly difficult to meet with students regularly, but we know that when they truly desire to learn more, they can make the time. Pray that students will hunger and thirst for Truth and that they will find open time slots to meet and study the Word with us.” PA OF COLOMBIA (pah) - Mon* is a woman who has had an interest in the Gospel, but her husband, Hank*, has prohibited her from studying with missionaries Henry* and Dana*. Recently their daughter became very sick, and the family took her to the witch doctor for healing. The little girl’s condition only got worse, so they finally took her to the hospital. Henry went to the hospital to be with the family and was asked by Hank to enter the room and pray for his little girl. Henry was told that the doctor had said that there was no hope and that nothing could be done for her. Her vital signs were barely registering, and death was near. Henry talked with the family about God and began to pray. As he finished praying, the little girl began to move and her vital signs became stronger. Henry left the room to share the news with the other family members who were waiting outside. In seconds, Hank came running from the room to say that his little girl had opened her eyes! She continues to improve. Praise the Lord for His powerful work in this humble hospital room! Pray that this demonstration of the healing power of God will lead to the salvation of every member of this family.
