“We give thanks to You, God; we give thanks to You, for Your name is near. People tell about Your wonderful works.” (Psalm 75:1)

WORLD LEADERS - Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Please pray today for President Mamnoon Hussain of Pakistan (southern Asia, west of India).

RUSSIAN SPEAKERS OF UKRAINE - Please continue to pray for eastern Ukraine. Tensions continue to be high, and many live each day wondering if Russian troops will invade. Donetsk has seen numerous pro-Russia rallies, but participation seems to be dwindling. A multi-confessional prayer tent has been set up in the city, and people are gathering for prayer.

BAGANDA OF UGANDA (bah-GAHN-dah) - “Linda* has been a teacher at a local church of another denomination,” writes a Baganda Team member.  “For the past few months, she has been attending a Bible training time with us. Recently she went back to her church and told them that they have not been teaching truth and they need to start teaching it. The church asked her to leave. Pray for Linda to be encouraged and for her to continue sharing the truth.” (*pseudonym)

TATARS OF RUSSIA/CENTRAL ASIA (TAH-tars) - “Please join us in lifting up Elmira*, a young woman who has been a dear friend to many team members here. She has heard the Good News several times from a number of people, but has yet to put her trust in the One who saves. Instead, she focuses on trying to be a good person. Elmira is a world traveler, but she will be returning to our city for a couple of weeks between international jobs. Please pray that this time will be life-changing for her, that her eyes will be opened to Him who created the world and all that is in it, and that we will be given opportunities and boldness to share the Good News with her.” (*pseudonym)
