“In the morning sow your seed, and at evening do not let your hand rest, because you don’t know which will succeed, whether one or the other, or if both of them will be equally good.” (Ecclesiastes 11:6, HCSB)

Hi, this is Eleanor Witcher of IMB’s prayer office, lifting up those who are not yet believers.

The Rockton* team in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam is sharing the Gospel with everyone they meet, morning and evening. When the team shared with Dai*, he listened eagerly and even asked questions to learn more. But Dai has not yet taken the step of faith to ask Jesus to be Lord of his life. Dai and many others face internal and cultural barriers in making this decision.

At this time, there are several Thai-Malay men who seem to be believing, but are not yet ready to commit themselves fully to Jesus Christ. They are afraid of their family and friends discovering their faith and what might happen as a result. They need courage to surrender fully to Christ.

While distributing tracts and invitations to an English class that is being held in the Paris suburbs, a believer spent about 30 minutes talking with Simon*, a Berber man from a beach town. Simon hasn’t been in Paris long and is looking to get papers and a job. He is also interested in learning English, and has been a regular attendee at the Monday and Thursday evening English as a Second Language (ESL) classes. A number of believers have talked with him about spiritual things, and he is very interested in pursuing such conversations.

* Please pray for Simon, asking that the eyes of his heart will be opened and that through learning English and spending time with believers, he will come to know Jesus as King.

* Pray that the Thai-Malay Team and the national workers helping them will have the wisdom needed to help guide these men as they step across the line into the kingdom of God.

* Intercede for the Rockton team to have discernment in knowing who they should focus their time on the most as they share.
