“The harvest is abundant, but the workers are few. Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.” (Matthew 9:37-38)

WORLD LEADERS - Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Please pray today for President Thomas Esang Remengesau, Jr. of Palau (islands in North Pacific Ocean, southeast of the Philippines).

DEAF PEOPLES - Peter and Liz Reed* serve as missionaries to the Deaf in Taiwan. In November, they asked you to pray for Hayden*, a Deaf man who had invited them to his parent’s house during “Ghost Month.” Peter and Liz shared the story of Jesus’ birth with him over dinner on Christmas Day. Hayden sat attentively. However, at that time, they could see that he was not interested in spiritual things. He was more interested in having foreign friends. Please pray that Hayden’s heart will be open to God’s stories in His time. (*pseudonyms)

WESTERN HIGHLANDERS OF EAST ASIA - She became a believer last summer and is now being discipled once a week by another Christian. However, she will be leaving this month to return to her village. To date, there are no believers near her village. Please pray that our Father will raise up a local sister to continue discipleship with QQ*. Please pray Hebrews 13:20-21 and Ephesians 3:14-21 for her. Ask that she will share her faith with her mother and brother and that she will continue to be sanctified by truth and protected from the evil one. (*pseudonym)
