Your IMB E-Letter April 16, 2014 Ukraine: A nation called to prayer Events in Ukraine are unfolding rapidly and dramatically. What started as a movement for democracy, resulting in the loss of 100 lives in Kiev's Independence Square and a change in government, quickly turned into a nation's struggle to maintain its independence and sovereignty. Christians across Ukraine are joining in public places to pray daily for a movement of God in this troubled land. Join us as we travel across Ukraine – from Kiev to the East and back – documenting the sights and sounds of a nation united in prayer. The death of darkness WorldView: The death of darkness Death will come for each of us. But darkness, its close companion, is a choice. God sent His Son, to rescue us from eternal darkness. But two millennia later not everyone knows it. That’s why servants of God go to places of darkness to bring the Light of the Gospel. They are indeed ‘chasers after darkness.’ Visit WorldView Conversation, the blog related to this column.
