| Prayer requests on the website are updated every Monday-Friday at 9:30 a.m., EST November 13, 2014 “Let the peoples praise you, God; let all the peoples praise you.” (Psalm 67:5, NKJV) WORLD LEADER - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2, NKJV). Please pray today for Prime Minister Mohamed Said Fofana of Guinea (western Africa, between Guinea-Bissau and Sierra Leone). SUB-SAHARAN AFRICAN UNENGAGED PEOPLES - The only missionaries living among the Betsimisaraka people of northeastern Madagascar had to leave Madagascar for medical reasons several months ago. The Betsimisaraka are still classified as “unreached,” and now they are once again unengaged. But these missionaries did have the privilege of baptizing five men the week before their departure. Please pray for these new believers. These men have not only committed to continue meeting together for Bible study, but also to teaching the Bible in another village. Pray for these men, who live in the city of Sambava, to rely on the Holy Spirit for understanding God’s Word, and pray for them to continue to grow in their relationship with Christ Jesus. Ask that they will plant the seed of God’s Word in the lives of other Betsimisaraka. Pray that new missionaries will be called to the Betsimisaraka, but also pray that the Lord will use these new believers and the ones they will lead to the Lord to be His ambassadors for the Gospel among this people group. SYRIAN SUNNI ARABS OF SYRIA (SOO-nee) - Hibba*, a Syrian refugee, came to Jesus powerfully, and soon her life was filled with miracles. Her husband doesn’t know yet that she is a believer. Often when a woman admits to leaving Islam, her husband and family will mistreat her severely. One day, Hibba was praying in her husband’s presence with Islamic prayer beads in her hand, but she was saying in her heart, “I love you, Jesus.” Her husband was thinking that she was reciting Islamic words, but really, she was praying for her husband to know Jesus. Please pray that this entire family will come to believe in the Son. Pray that as Hibba grows in faith and wisdom in the Lord, her husband’s heart will be prepared to receive the Good News.
