| Prayer requests on the website are updated every Monday-Friday at 9:30 a.m., EST November 7, 2014 “Hear my cry, O God; attend to my prayer. From the end of the earth I will cry to You.” (Psalm 61:1-2a, NKJV) WORLD LEADER - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2, NKJV). Please pray today for Prime Minister Aleqa Hammond of Greenland (northern North America, northeast of Canada). PEDI OF SOUTH AFRICA (PEH-dee) - In August, two missionaries visited the Sekhukune Pedi people of the Limpopo province to secure additional information concerning this people group. As a follow-up, four Pedi pastors will be invited to the Tswana pastors retreat in mid-November as a way of building relationships and encouraging the pastors. It will also help the missionary, Joseph*, get to know the Pedi pastors better. A volunteer team is coming in January. Pray that these Pedi pastors will be able to participate in the work of this volunteer team. Pray for continued contact and encouragement between the Pedi pastors of the Sekhukhune area and Joseph. (*name changed) QIZILBASH-AFSHARI OF AFGHANISTAN (KIH-zil-bahsh ahf-shah-REE) - It is time for miracles and dreams and audacious requests! If we ask the Lord to glorify His name among the Qizilbash-Afshari, He will do it. Ask Him to reveal Himself to every Qizilbash-Afshari living in Afghanistan this month. Ask Him to do so in a specific way that each will understand, meeting their unique need. Some need dreams, some need to see miracles done in the name of Jesus, some need to be prayed over by a child of the Most High, some need to have questions fill their mind, and some need to find the Word in an unlikely location. Please ask the Father to surround each Qizilbash-Afshari personally and deeply, so that not one will be overlooked this month, not one will live one more month without hearing the truth from Christ Jesus, who is the only door to life. The Qizilbash-Afshari do not have abundant life. Without your prayers, they never will.
