“My heart’s desire and prayer to God concerning them is for their salvation!” (Romans 10:1, HCSB)

WORLD LEADER - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2, NKJV).  Please pray today for Prime Minister Samuel Hinds of Guyana (northern South America).

ALGERIAN ARABS OF ALGERIA (al-JEER-ee-uhn) - Samuel* is a young professional. Last year he started a small business, and he is working hard to make it a success. Douglas* has collaborated with Samuel on a few business projects, and during the time they have spent together, the Father has given Douglas opportunities to share truth about Jesus. One time Douglas was even able to share about the difference between earning the Father’s favor by doing good works and receiving the Father’s favor by having faith in the Son. Please pray for two things: First, pray that Douglas will have more opportunities to speak truth about the Son to Samuel. Second, pray that Samuel will seek the favor of God not by doing good things, but by having faith in the Son. (*names changed)

PEOPLE OF TAIWAN - Thank you for praying for those who participated in a prayerwalk training session. One of the participants who took the training seriously put into practice the things she had learned and prayed in her neighborhood for a particular shop that was selling idol-worship paraphernalia. Within a month of the training, she saw God answer her prayer! The idol-worship paraphernalia shop closed and has been replaced with a shop selling soy milk. Praise God for this incredible answer to prayer!
