“I will praise You, Lord, among the peoples; I will sing praises to You among the nations.” (Psalm 57:9, HCSB)

WORLD LEADER - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2, NKJV).  Please pray today for Prime Minister Xavier Bettel of Luxembourg (western Europe, between France and Germany).

GURAGE OF ETHIOPIA (goo-ra-gay) - Most often, believers meet together in small house churches. While individuals are bold in their witness for Jesus, they find that building a physical building gives detractors a big target, so they forego the “brick and mortar” for a while. This month, pray that many new groups will begin meeting together for worship. Ask that there will be many people whom the Holy Spirit has prepared and made ready for baptism. Pray that existing groups will be strengthened and believers will walk blamelessly in their communities.

ISAAN STUDENTS OF THAILAND (EE-sahn) - A group of Great Commission Christian (GCC) workers with a vision to reach students for Christ has started a new ministry right across the street from a large university in Korat, Thailand. The group opened a Board Game Cafe in mid-September. In the first week of operation, the group saw students respond in large numbers to the opportunity to visit the cafe for games, coffee and desserts. It was a good beginning for building relationships, which is a vital part of sharing the Gospel with this audience. Please support this ministry in prayer, asking that genuine relationships will develop between students and those seeking to minister to them. Ask for many opportunities to share the message of Christ in this setting. Pray also that a gifted, committed evangelist who has previously worked with this group will be able to return to Korat and become involved in evangelism in this setting.
