Please pray today for Prime Minister Antonios Samaras of Greece (southern Europe, between Albania and Turkey). AMAZON PEOPLES OF THE AMAZON RIVER BASIN (AM-uh-zahn) - Join the Amazon Peoples Team in thanking God for the open door that He has provided to teach chronological Bible storying to members of the Y and U indigenous communities. Pray that this door will remain open and that other members of these people groups will hear and respond to the Good News of Christ. In addition to continued prayers for the Y and U peoples, please pray for the R people and the T people. Pray that God will cause these people to seek after Him. God has given the Amazon Peoples Team several opportunities recently to have more contact with the R and T peoples. Pray that He will work in their hearts so that they will want to learn about Him through the storying sessions. SENUFO SUPYIRE OF MALI (SIN-oo-fo su-PEER-ay) - “Over a year ago, we asked you to pray for MC, the brother of a young Senufo Supyire believer. This young man first expressed belief in Jesus Christ in 2011 just before we left for an extended time out of country. MC is currently going to the university in the capital city, but we have had a few good visits with him in the last few months. We have discussed with him the foundational beliefs of those who follow Christ and stressed the importance of being in a local church and being baptized. We were happy to hear that he has been attending church and reading his Bible. Please pray for MC to desire to follow the command to be baptized and to seek information about this process in his church in the capital city. Pray that the pastor and other leaders of that church will be helpful in discipling and leading this young believer in his desire to be baptized.” For additional prayer requests, click here: Today’s Prayer (If you have difficulty with this link, please go to www.imb.org and click on the “Pray” tab, and then click on the “Today’s Prayer” link in the left-hand column.)
