“Let the peoples praise you, God; let all the peoples praise you.” (Psalm 67:5)

WORLD LEADER - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Please pray today for Prime Minister Keith Mitchell of Grenada (island northeast of Venezuela, in the Caribbean).

HIJAZI SAUDI ARABS OF SAUDI ARABIA (hi-JAH-zee) - Many young Saudis are studying and living in the United States. One young man, Abe*, was blessed with an American neighbor, Uncle Jim*, who took him under his wing and helped him to adjust to life in America. Abe was welcomed into Uncle Jim’s home, included in family celebrations and events, and given advice and assistance on how to function in American society. Uncle Jim had a major influence on Abe’s life; in fact, conversations that others had with Abe always included frequent references to Uncle Jim. What if every Saudi in the United States had an “Uncle Jim”? What if Uncle Jim were a follower of Jesus? Pray for churches and believers in the U.S. to befriend and love Saudi students while they are in the States. (*pseudonyms)

SOUTH ASIANS OF CANADA - Praise the Lord for Life Eternal Asian Fellowship’s becoming a new church! It’s located in a Toronto suburb that is home to thousands of South Asians. Recently people from Kuwait, Afghanistan and China have attended. Please pray that the Holy Spirit will convict many so that they will repent, believe, and be baptized in faith in Jesus Christ. Ask the Father to give wisdom to the members as they plan a Christmas outreach. For Pastor R, please pray for his wife and children who are still in Pakistan. Petition for their safety, and ask for a favorable attitude of the embassy officials to approve their visa applications by year’s end.
