“And I pray this: that your love will keep on growing in knowledge and every kind of discernment.” (Philippians 1:9, HCSB)

Hi, this is Eleanor Witcher of IMB’s prayer office, asking you to pray for believers who are new in their faith.

Workers among the Highland Singers of Central Asia share, “Daisy* is the mayor of the last village up in our valley, a very important woman in her area. Our non-profit organization has done several projects with her over the years. But more than that, she is very interested in Jesus. We have prayed with her, have passed on several films, and have even given her a Bible more than once. Her books disappear, as she loans them to family and friends, so we will be bringing her another one the next time we go.”

In the Last Frontier, the single mother of an elementary school-age student has accepted new life. She has been actively listening each week during her son’s English lesson, and the workers and their national partner were able to share Truth with her. “Because of my new life in Christ, I don’t feel alone anymore,” has been her testimony over the past few weeks.

A local church in the Eastern Hills and Sea Cities, East Asia, reserved an outdoor concert stage and hosted an event with the assistance of a young adults’ praise team from another city. In their own city, when the praise team had performed all the music, skits and evangelism methods they had prepared for a year, about 50 people came to the Lord. Give praise that another 50 received salvation when they performed in the second city.

* Please pray for the new believers in East Asia to grow well in His grace.

* Intercede for this single mother and her son to grow steadily as they participate in regular Bible study and make time in their schedule to attend worship.

* Lift up Daisy* and her family, asking that they will continue to pursue Truth and that workers will be bold and clear as we share with her and her village.
