“All humanity will come to You, the One who hears prayer.” (Psalm 65:2)

WORLD LEADER - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Please pray today for Governor Eddie Calvo of Guam (island in North Pacific Ocean, east of the Philippines).

ATHLETES OF EAST ASIA - “November is a great month for us. There are no major national holidays, so we are able to spend more time with the student fellowship and athletes. One big annual event is our Thanksgiving celebration. We order turkey and make all the fixings. It is a great day for sharing an American tradition as well as the meaning behind the holiday. Please lift us up as we meet and share with students. May the Father open hearts and give us many opportunities to speak of the hope that we have in Jesus.”

LUSAKA, ZAMBIA (loo-SAH-kah) - “Join with us in praying for missionaries Mike and Lindy Howard as they retire from more than 20 years of service in Zambia. May the ripple effects of all the good works they began in Zambia continue to spread far and deep. Pray that the churches they planted and impacted throughout the Eastern province and Lusaka will thrive and prosper to the glory of God. God has used them tremendously to minister to the expatriate community throughout Lusaka. Pray that those ministries and the spirit of unity they have helped cultivate through the International Bible Study will thrive. The Chinese church, while a young work, continues to flow well and grow, ever ready to receive those newly arriving in Lusaka. Ask the Lord to richly bless the Howards for their hand in nursing the Chinese church from its infancy. May the women impacted by Lindy as she spent time with them at Lusaka’s compound beauty shops continue to seek God’s face and receive the nourishment only He can give. There’s so much more to tell of the Howards’ impact and how they will be missed! Countless missionary families are thriving and flourishing due to the shepherding and leadership they provided the mission family of Zambia over the years. As this chapter of their journey draws to completion, pray that our gracious Lord will help them to have ‘good goodbyes,’ and direct them in what He has next for them. May they know how much we care and will miss them.”
