| Prayer requests on the website are updated every Monday-Friday at 9:30 a.m., EST December 11, 2014 “There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots.” (Isaiah 11:1, NKJV) WORLD LEADER - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2, NKJV). Please pray today for King Abdallah II of Jordan (Middle East, southeast of Israel). DECCANI MUSLIMS OF INDIA (deh-KAH-nee) - As always, this time of year presents wonderful opportunities for the body of Christ to love on Muslims in tangible ways throughout the Christmas holiday season. Pray for true followers of Jesus to be light and salt to their Muslim neighbors, despite the current mood of animosity between the two communities. Ask God to work mightily among the Deccani Muslims this month. Eagerly request that our Father will make this month “The Month” for the Deccani Muslims to hear the gospel and respond in faith! Pray that those Deccani Muslims who have already placed their faith in Isa (Jesus) will hungrily read and humbly obey God’s Word. As they abide in Isa, pray that God will use them to speak life to their family and friends. May God reap a harvest among the Deccani Muslim communities. SUB-SAHARAN AFRICAN UNENGAGED PEOPLES - Last year, you were asked to intercede for the Vidunda (pronounced VEE-dune-dah) people who lived in the mountains where there were no roads. They were seen as backward, and people were usually indifferent towards them. You were asked to pray that “the Vidunda of Tanzania will lay heavy on our hearts until God calls someone to share the Gospel with them.” Thank you for praying. Praise God that today, a group of churches are organizing themselves and are committing to reach the Vidunda people! Pray that God will move through the Vidunda, readying their hearts for the gospel message. Ask Him to move miraculously within these churches, giving them wisdom and His plan as they begin this glorious adventure of sharing God’s amazing love with these mountain people.
