| Prayer requests on the website are updated every Monday-Friday at 9:30 a.m., EST December 15, 2014 “Therefore, the Lord Himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive, have a son, and name him Immanuel.” (Isaiah 7:14, HCSB) WORLD LEADER - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2, NKJV). Please pray today for President Uhuru Kenyatta of Kenya (eastern Africa). TSWANA OF BOTSWANA (t’SWAN-ah) - Missionary Amanda Turner writes: “When I see my kids sharing Christ with others around us, my heart overflows with joy. We have been doing a women’s and children’s Bible study on Saturday mornings for the past several years, and my kids have been so faithful to want to go with me. Our 7 year old has begun asking if she can teach, so she has taught a couple of times over the past few months. I struggle sometimes, as I know that my husband and I were called to the mission field and, of course, our kids have to come alongside of us, and I wonder sometimes if we are ‘depriving’ them of a life they could have in the United States. When I see my daughter stand in front of a group of kids and share the gospel with them, I see the Lord working in her heart and using her. Praise God that He has called them to be missionaries as well!” UNREACHED PEOPLE GROUPS OF COLOMBIA - Praise the Lord for continuing to open doors to the Q people in southern Colombia! Missionary Danilo has been granted the opportunity to develop a radio program for families in the Q community. He shares: “I have already conducted two programs for two hours each on different days. I was invited to meet with the radio announcers and the governor to establish a weekly schedule for our family-oriented program. The program will air on Tuesdays and Thursdays for two hours each day. Pray that the Q people will hear and understand the Bible stories of the free gift of God in Christ Jesus. Pray that the women of this community will participate in a Bible story group for women, which will be led by my wife. Pray for wisdom and discernment for us as to how best to lead this group.
