Prayer requests on the website are updated every Monday-Friday at 9:30 a.m., EST December 12, 2014 "But as it is written: 'Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.'" (1 Corinthians 2:9, NKJV) WORLD LEADER - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2, NKJV). Please pray today for Prime Minister Karim Massimov of Kazakhstan (central Asia, northwest of China). SPANIARDS OF NORTHERN SPAIN (SPAN-yurds) - A couple in Spain writes: “God has been at work in this city long before we ever arrived, and He will continue to be long after we depart. The evidence of this is in watching the lives of those who are spiritually interested. What a privilege it is to watch the process of seeds being planted, then the growth, the watering, and on occasion . . . the harvest! With one particular couple we have become friends with, the process has been shared beautifully by a small handful of believers in their lives. Before we ever arrived, some friends shared their faith with the couple, on another occasion the couple went to church, and just recently we had the privilege of sharing our faith with them and even opening up God’s Word together. They decided last month that they wanted to start going to church regularly, so they asked what time church started and told us that they would see us there! Their second Sunday at church just so happened to be ‘Agape Sunday’ that day in our church, where we focus completely on evangelism. It was the day that this couple surrendered their lives to Jesus! What a blessing it is to see how the Lord uses the body of Christ to reach His people! Please pray now for our friends as they begin their discipleship journey, asking that they will grow in their faith and become ambassadors for Christ.” UNIVERSITY STUDENTS IN SEOUL, KOREA - Please pray for William*, who has overcome incredible hardships to almost reach his dream of becoming a college graduate. Ask God to sustain him until he graduates in August 2015. Also pray for the many other students like William who try so hard to improve themselves despite their disadvantaged backgrounds.
