But the angel said to him: "Do not be afraid, Zechariah; your prayer has been heard.” (Luke 1:13a, NKJV)

WORLD LEADER - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2, NKJV). Please pray today for President Fuad Masum of Iraq (southwestern Asia, between Syria and Iran).

KHARKOV, UKRAINE (HAR-kov) - “Throughout the month of December, opportunities to share Christmas traditions, Advent, and the reason for our hope abound,” writes Team Kharkov. “This year, many of those we encounter have been impacted and even displaced from their homes due to conflict in the regions to the south. Ask the Lord to grant us wisdom as we seek to tell the good news that the Prince of Peace has come to each one He causes to cross our paths. Pray for hearts prepared to receive the gift of Christ into their lives, bearing the fruit of repentance and eternal life.”

LAST FRONTIER - A worker will be meeting with some house church leaders to talk about working together to reach a Last Frontier people group. Pray that these house church leaders will have a vision for this people group as they hear about opportunities in which they can become involved in doing the Lord’s work. They could be very effective in going and reaching out in areas where many others cannot gain access. Pray for this worker to develop good relationships with these house church leaders and to be effective in working together with them to mobilize resources for this people group.
