Prayer requests on the website are updated every Monday-Friday at 9:30 a.m., EST December 2, 2014 “But as for me, my prayer is to You, O LORD, in the acceptable time.” (Psalm 69:13a, NKJV) WORLD LEADER - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2, NKJV). Please pray today for President Hasan Fereidun Ruhani of Iran (southwestern Asia, between Iraq and Pakistan). ARAB PEOPLES OF CENTRAL UNITED KINGDOM - Believers in the Central United Kingdom have been praying for months for access to tower-block apartments filled with Arab peoples. Many of the tower-blocks house more than 500 people. At a recent training session for national leaders, the trainer met a few Arab believers who live in those buildings. For Christmas, they hope to do a mass distribution to each family in those buildings of DVDs that tell the story of Jesus. Please pray for all necessary resources, timely delivery of the films, and most importantly, open hearts to receive the films and believe in the Good News of Jesus. EAST ASIAN PEOPLES - Praise God for the $154 million given to the 2013 Lottie Moon Christmas Offering to support the work of almost 5,000 missionaries worldwide, many of them serving among the 1.6 billion East Asian peoples. Pray that churches and individuals will give generously and sacrificially to the 2014 Lottie Moon Christmas Offering so that all can hear of the Savior’s love. Pray that 1.3 billion East Asian people who are still lost will have an opportunity to receive Christ.
