"At daybreak, LORD, You hear my voice; at daybreak I plead my case to You and watch expectantly.” (Psalm 5:3)

WORLD LEADER - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Please pray today for Prime Minister Henry Puna of Cook Islands (South Pacific Ocean, about one-half way from Hawaii to New Zealand).

LAST FRONTIER - Thank you for praying for workers and local partners who were under investigation following a well-attended Vacation Bible School. “Many of our national partners have been questioned about the evangelism of people in this area. Your prayers have been answered, and God has placed a hedge of protection around the house churches and the many people who have expressed an interest in knowing Him. The plan is to divide the groups in order to make them smaller, to change the meeting places, and to train new leaders. This would be a monumental task, and we ask for your continued prayer as we go forth in God’s precious and holy name, for ‘there is no other name . . . by which we must be saved’ (Acts 4:12b, NKJV).”

QUILOMBOLAS OF BRAZIL (key-lohm-BALL-uhs) - “The fields are truly white unto harvest among the ‘quilombos’ (communities) of the state of Para! During recent field research trips, clusters of communities without evangelical work were visited in three different municipalities, and it was amazing to see how God opened the doors. Our North Brazil Team received invitations from each of the presidents (mayors) to begin work in their communities. Last month, two more Brazilian congregations launched church-planting projects in two of these municipalities. Please pray for these new partnering churches. Seeing so many open doors in geographically challenging locations reemphasizes the need for the Lord to send more workers into His harvest, so please pray for the third cluster of ‘quilombos’ still needing engagement, along with all of the 450 Quilombola communities of Para.”
