“Therefore, He is always able to save those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to intercede for them.” (Hebrews 7:25)

WORLD LEADERS - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Please pray today for Prime Minister Alberto Vaquina of Mozambique (southern Africa).

AEGEAN TURKS OF TURKEY (uh-JEE-an) - “In our small city, we are grateful for the four national brothers and sisters with whom we gather. Discipleship is full of ups and downs, especially as nationals face pressures from non-believing family members and friends. One of our brothers has currently stopped meeting with us, as he is struggling through his beliefs. He has gone back to studying Islam and other religions to try to figure out what he believes. In addition to this, he is sharing some of his doubts and reading materials that conflict with truth with another professing believer, who himself just joined us for the first time in a month. This brother is now also reexamining his own faith. Please pray that as these two brothers struggle through their questions, the truth will be made clear to them and they will be restored to fellowship with the other believers. Pray that the restoration of their faith will be a light to their unbelieving families. It’s challenging for the remaining believers to know how to relate to and work toward restoration even as they face pressures and struggles of their own. Please pray for wisdom, encouragement and perseverance, and for the truth to reign. May the Lord advance His kingdom work here in this city!”

CHINESE OF WESTERN EUROPE - “Mr. Bi* works long hours in his little tea shop, selling noodles and Chinese snacks to many students studying nearby. He has been in France for 20 years as a restaurant worker, coming from Guangdong, in southern China. He leads a lonely life, having little contact with other Chinese who speak Mandarin, which he doesn’t understand. We have visited him in the mornings before he opens the shop, chatting with him as he busily prepares food for the lunch crowd. Please pray for him, asking that he will have a spiritual hunger to learn about God and come to accept Him.” (*pseudonym)
