"Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” (Jeremiah 33:3)

WORLD LEADERS - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Please pray today for Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic of Montenegro (southeastern Europe between the Adriatic Sea and Serbia).

DEAF PEOPLES - She is 19 years old and has been Deaf since birth. Living in the mountains of Lesotho, there is little opportunity for education, much less communication with someone who can understand the little sign language she does know. Imagine a world of silence . . . the silence broken when three men hold you captive in a hut while they do the unspeakable. You cry, but no one hears. Two days later, a young believer comes to the hospital. Her passion is people--non-hearing people. In your “language,” she tells you that she loves you. She tells you that she is sorry for your pain. She reminds you that you are not alone, but that God does care for you. Hopelessness yesterday turns to hope today; fear in the past turns to confidence in tomorrow. Please pray for R as she continues to heal both physically and emotionally. Pray that God will be her strength and that she will be able to hear the tenderness of His voice as He whispers, “My child, I love you.”

LAST FRONTIER - Training will take place this month among some members of a Last Frontier people group who are living in a neighboring country. The time together will be spent on a university campus, and it will involve teaching a mostly younger group of people who have indicated an interest in reaching out to that people group. Please pray that the participants will come with willing hearts and that the Lord will give each of them a meaningful experience as they learn more about how they can become personally involved. Thank Him for workers who have planned and prayed for this time and for those who will be leading the training.
