January 2, 2014 "My heart’s desire and prayer to God concerning them is for their salvation!” (Romans 10:1) WORLD LEADERS - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Please pray today for President Michael Daniel Higgins of Ireland (western Europe). Prayer requests from Eddie W. What a great way to start 2014! Please pray with me for traveling safety for 81 missionary adults and 64 missionary kids making their way to Richmond for their stateside assignment conference. Thank God for their faithful service, and ask that they will be renewed, refreshed and encouraged this week. Ask God’s blessings on several training events scheduled for this month. Pray for traveling safety and especially for the children as they transition into their temporary living environment. Pray also for the IMB orientation staff as they make final preparations for the missionaries’ arrival. May God’s blessings flow . . .
