“After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands.” (Revelation 7:9, NKJV)

WORLD LEADER - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Please pray today for Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich of Belarus (eastern Europe, east of Poland).

KANO KATSINA FULBE OF NIGERIA (KAH-no kat-SEE-nah FUL-bay) - “Many of you are aware of the insurgent group responsible for the kidnapping of the school girls in April. This group is very active in the two states that border ours to the north. So far, we have not had major problems with them in our state. We have a number of Kano Katsina Fulbe fellowships of believers in those states. Due to this insurgence, some of the believers have relocated. Others are still there in the midst of it all, but they must keep a low profile. Needless to say, being a believer is difficult there. Please pray for God’s protection over the Kano Katsina Fulbe believers. Ask God’s Holy Spirit to help them to be ‘wise as serpents and harmless as doves’ (Mathew 10:16). Pray that the authorities will have wisdom from God in knowing how to deal with this situation.”

M’ZAB OF THE SAHARA DESERT AND BEYOND (m-zab) - Hearing the news of the sudden passing of his father, Harold* immediately began searching online for a plane ticket to get him back to his homeland as soon as possible. While searching, Harold received a phone call from Brahim*, a friend with whom he’d been sharing Truth. Unable and unwilling to talk at that moment, he decided to tell his good friend the sad news and that he would be leaving immediately for some time. Within 15 minutes, there was a knock at the door. It was Brahim. After a moment of sorrow together, his friend tried to encourage him. “Your father has, hopefully, returned to God. We will all go through this. We come from God, and we all hope to return to God.” In the moment, Harold was led by the Spirit to speak truth: “I know where my father is at this moment. I don’t merely have hope; I have assurance that he returned to God, because he knew Jesus as his Savior. For no other reason, that’s why I know where he is right now.” There was a moment’s pause in their exchange as his friend took in these words. They had talked about this Savior before. With the need to pack and catch his plane, Harold and Brahim parted ways. Please pray for Brahim to accept Jesus as his Savior. “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is God’s power for salvation to everyone who believes . . .” (Romans 1:16, HCSB). (*pseudonyms)
