“He has delivered us from such a terrible death, and He will deliver us. We have put our hope in Him that He will deliver us again.” (2 Corinthians 1:10, HCSB)

WORLD LEADER - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Please pray today for President Bashar al-Asad of Syria (eastern end of Mediterranean Sea)

ARAB PEOPLES OF CENTRAL UNITED KINGDOM - This month begins with Ramadan having already started. With millions of Muslims fasting worldwide, what would happen in the spiritual realm if that same number of followers of Jesus fasted and prayed on behalf of Muslims? If Jesus-followers solemnly and in faith asked the Lord for their salvation? Moses went numerous times to God on behalf of the Israelites. The prophets cried out for people to turn to God. Jesus sent out His disciples and gave them the authority to cast out demons and evil spirits, yet they weren’t able to do it. When asked why, it was for a lack of faith (Matthew 17:14-21). In Mark 9:14-29, it is recorded that Jesus said that driving out the spirit, in that case, required prayer and fasting. So, in faith, please pray and fast this Ramadan that Muslims from every tongue, tribe and nation will come to faith in Jesus. Look at Isaiah 58:1-5 for what the attitude of a fast should be. Also look at Daniel 1:12-16 and see what they did to separate themselves from the others. You can fast from something that God shows to you, something that is drawing your attention away from Him. There are countless ways to fast, and many prayer guides to help you pray for Muslims during Ramadan. What do you say? Are you in?

DEAF PEOPLES - Jared and Nicole Mallet*, workers reaching the Deaf of Europe, have teamed with another worker from Canada to lead a Deaf summer camp in Hungary. Approximately 50 Deaf are attending the camp. They are from four different countries, and are communicating in four different sign languages. How amazing and wonderful our God is for bringing these Deaf individuals to the camp so they may know the Good News about Jesus! Ask God to open the hearts of the Deaf campers as His love is shared with them. Pray for many Deaf to make a decision to follow Jesus as their Savior and Lord. (*pseudonyms)
