“Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.” (Philippians 4:6, HCSB)

WORLD LEADER - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Please pray today for Prime Minister Edi Rama of Albania (southern Europe, northwest of Greece).

GUJARATI OF INDIA (goo-juh-RAH-tee) - More than 33 percent of the Indians who leave India come from the state of Gujarat, so it’s very likely that a believer elsewhere in the world will meet a Gujarati at some point. Technology can be a wonderful way to share the Good News with people anywhere in the world. Give thanks to God that a translation of the “Creation to Christ” story has been completed in Gujarati and has been made into a set of videos that can be downloaded and shared with Gujaratis--anywhere and anytime. Praise God for the completion of this project! Pray that believers will be bold in taking opportunities to share these videos with people they meet, and ask that the truths on the videos will be taken into the hearts of those who listen and will make a difference in their lives.

PEOPLE OF THE SWAN AREA, EAST ASIA - “I was riding in a cab in one of our SWAN cities the other day. As I was talking to my driver, I found him to be a very friendly man who liked to talk. I, too, like to talk, although I don’t know how friendly I am (you’ll have to ask my wife). We made small talk--you know--about things like the weather, family, where we are from, what we do, etc. We found out that we had a lot in common. After five minutes or so--praise the Father!--I was able to lead the conversation to talk about the Gospel. It was a very good and interactive conversation. In the end, he did not believe, but he did make an interesting comment. He said that the foreigners he drives for are usually the nicest people he transports. I told him that I thought it was because a majority of the foreigners in this particular city were Christians. I exited the cab and said my goodbye as he pondered that thought. Please pray for my cab driver and the thousands like him who need Jesus. Can you imagine if all the drivers in the SWAN cities were believers and how many people they could share with in a day?”
