| Prayer requests on the website are updated every Monday-Friday at 9:30 a.m., EST July 7, 2014 “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” (Galatians 6:2, NKJV) WORLD LEADER - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Please pray today for President Barack Obama of the United States. LAST FRONTIER - This month, two volunteers are working among a population segment with close ties to a Last Frontier people group. They are meeting with several ages and levels of students, teaching English and leading a Bible study/discussion. They are spending time one on one each day with new friends, looking for opportunities to share God’s love and explain the reason for the hope they hold within them. Pray that they will have excellent health and be protected throughout this time of teaching. Ask the Lord to use their faithfulness and obedience to impact the Last Frontier people group and bring about a harvest of souls among them who will make His name known. RUMELIAN TURKS OF THE BALKANS (ru-ME-lee-an) - Pray for field workers who have been away for the past six months on their stateside assignment. Now as they try to return, they are battling some medical issues and fighting deadlines in order not to lose the five-year visa they had previously acquired in their host country. Ask the Lord to work out the details so they can return in time to the place of their calling, without having to restart the visa process. Pray that their new term of service will be even more fruitful and that God will continue to give them contacts with those who are seeking Him. Ask God to work in the hearts of their family and friends as they say goodbye, and pray that He will work in hearts of those they will greet when they return.
