Prayer requests on the website are updated every Monday-Friday at 9:30 a.m., EST January 12, 2015 “[God] is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.” (Ephesians 3:20, NKJV) WORLD LEADER - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2, NKJV). Please pray for Chief Executive Fernando Chui Sai On of Macao (southeastern China coast). BANGALORE HOSPITAL, KARNATAKA STATE, INDIA (BANG-ah-lohr) - In recent weeks, some opposition has arisen in villages where the hospital works. They have accused the staff of being there only to force conversion to Christianity. Pray for wisdom daily, as the spiritual ministry of the hospital remains a priority. Pray for boldness and, at the same time, discernment given by the Holy Spirit. ISLAND PEOPLES OF THE INDIAN OCEAN - “Thank you for your prayers concerning our Training for Trainers (T4T) ministry on our island. We and our colleagues are very excited, encouraged and expectant concerning the future of T4T here, as it is literally exploding all over the place. In fact, we are having difficulty finding enough trainers to keep up with the demand! Please join us now in praying Matthew 9:37-38: ‘The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers in to His harvest.’ Amen!” For additional prayer requests, click here: Today’s Prayer (If you have difficulty with this link, please go to www.imb.org and click on the “Pray” tab, and then click on the “Today’s Prayer” link in the left-hand column.) |
