Several thousand people in a Soninke village have had opportunity to see the “JESUS” film in the Soninke language because the local television station broadcast the film over several consecutive days. Mark*, who is from that same village but lives in Dakar, Senegal, is personally counting the cost of following Jesus. There are no known believers in Mark’s village.  The Zerma Team’s journeyman, as well as two “Hands On” missionaries, completed their terms of service in December. They were the first ones to share Christ in “Tree” village and “GK” village, two hours away from Niger’s capital. The “JESUS” film and weekly Bible stories were shared with people who had never heard the Good News. Praise God for the faithfulness of the three young women who were obedient to come and share God’s love with the Zerma people. The “Prophet Story” is a nine-minute “Creation to Christ” video story that highlights God’s plan to save people through the sacrifice of His Son. The Central Asian People Communication team is working to get this video translated and dubbed into as many Central Asian languages as possible--specifically the languages of the North Caucasus.  Translators, voice actors, and sound recordists are still needed before the team will be able to get this story into these remaining languages that, as of yet, have no access to the gospel.  * Please pray for protection over those involved in working on these translations and dubbing projects so that many new language groups can hear the gospel. * Pray for the spiritual seeds that were planted in Niger to grow deep in the fertile soil and for God’s Word, will, and purpose to be accomplished in the lives of the Zerma.  * Ask Him to use this ‘Prophet Story’ video to convict many of sin and righteousness and the only way to escape the coming judgment for sins.  (*name changed)
