Prayer requests on the website are updated every Monday-Friday at 9:30 a.m., EST January 15, 2015 “Pray also for me, that the message may be given to me when I open my mouth to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel.” (Ephesians 6:19, HCSB) WORLD LEADER - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2, NKJV). Please pray for President Arthur Peter Mutharika of Malawi (southern Africa, east of Zambia). EASTERN OUTER RIM PEOPLE OF EAST ASIA - Already the people of the Eastern Outer Rim are in the midst of their yearly migration from the mountain villages to warmer climates in the cities of their country and neighboring countries. For Christian workers, this is an ideal time to reach out to many who are not normally accessible during other times of the year. Please pray that the Lord will provide “divine encounters” with those whose hearts He has prepared. Pray for boldness for the workers, and ask that the Lord will fill their mouths with appropriate words to share the Good News. TUNISIAN ARABS OF SOUTHERN TUNISIA (too-NEE-zhan) - Amira* has a close friendship with a follower of Jesus and has heard the Good News countless times. She and her family have seen clear differences in the life of this follower, and when others try to convert the follower to Islam, the family quickly scolds them, saying, “No, her life is better than ours! She doesn’t need Islam!” They clearly recognize the Light, but still choose not to walk in it. Please lift up Amira and her family, asking that the seeds of Truth that have been planted and watered will bear eternal fruit. Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 4:4: “The god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelievers so they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” Please ask the Father to open the eyes of this family and many, many others, and draw them to follow Him in repentance and faith, for His glory!
