“For the LORD hears the poor.” (Psalm 69:33a, NKJV)

WORLD LEADER - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2, NKJV). Please pray today for President, General National Congress, Nuri Abu Sahmayn of Libya (northern Africa, between Egypt and Tunisia).

HO CHI MINH CITY, VIETNAM (HOE-chee-men) - Danh* heard about Jesus for the first time last month, but he still has many questions and doubts. Like many in this city, he heard from a friend about the meaning of Christmas and the friend’s personal salvation testimony. Danh also received a copy of the New Testament and a gospel tract so he could read further. The time between Christmas and Tet (Lunar New Year) next month is a critical time for follow-up for those who have been introduced to the Good News about Jesus. Please pray that the Holy Spirit will continue to convict Danh’s heart of his need to repent and believe. Pray that believers in the city will avail themselves of every opportunity to reconnect with those whom they shared with over Christmas and urge their family, friends, neighbors and co-workers to accept God’s offer of reconciliation with Him. RED LIGHTS AND REDEMPTION, EAST ASIA - “Please pray for a potential new partner who will soon be invited to join us in doing outreach in red-light shops. This could open many doors to other national partnerships, so let’s ask the Father to burden their hearts for their lost neighbors!”
