"Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts before Him. God is our refuge.” (Psalm 62:8, HCSB)

WORLD LEADER - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Please pray today for Prime Minister Qohir Rasulzoda of Tajikistan (central Asia, west of China).

DEAF PEOPLES - Workers serving among the Deaf in Botswana write: “Unfortunately we were unable to make a planned trip to Gaborone, the capital city, because we experienced car problems on the way and had to return home. We do not understand why it happened, but God knows best. The Deaf group was disappointed and wants us to come when we can. Please pray that they will keep their focus on the Lord and seek God instead of looking only to us. May the Lord get all the glory as He calls Deaf to Himself.”

KOBE, JAPAN (KOH-bay) - “A journeyman on our Kobe/Hyogo Team visits two different universities, and one is in Kobe. God has given her students with whom to study the Bible on the one campus, but she keeps praying for more opportunities to open up at the university in Kobe. She has been able to share in the classes of a Christian teacher but still would like to make deeper inroads into the lives of individual students. Recently two missionaries in Osaka met a Christian woman whose son attends this same university. He wants to be a pastor one day, and his desire is to start a Bible study with students on campus. It is our desire that this journeyman, the Christian teacher, and the Japanese Christian student will come together and reach this campus for Christ. Please join us in praying that He will ‘open to (them) a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ’ (Colossians 4:3).”
