“God has listened; He has paid attention to the sound of my prayer. (Psalm 66:19, HCSB)

WORLD LEADER - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Please pray today for Prime Minister Mehdi Jomaa of Tunisia (northern Africa).

HO CHI MINH CITY, VIETNAM (HOE-chee-men) - “There’s something pretty amazing when I begin to share the Gospel with someone and they get a bit of a confused look on their face. I know that it’s because they have never heard this before, and God has given me the blessing of being the first to tell them!” The believers who make up the Red*, Card* and Purple* teams that you have been praying for have been frequently amazed, as mentioned in this quote. They have been faithful to go out and share the Gospel in many different settings, gathering crowds to share with and sharing one on one. With each day, God is showing them His hand at work as they meet people who want to learn more about Him. Please pray for the work of these teams, asking that nothing will distract them from what God has called them to do in the city. Pray that they will see more abundant fruit of people turning from darkness to light and accepting Christ as Savior and Lord. Pray for consistent follow-up of new believers with obedience-based discipleship that will result in new, multiplying churches. (*pseudonyms)

MOUNTAIN YI OF EAST ASIA (ee) - Praise God that villagers are coming to faith each month among the Mountain Yi! Though the flocks are growing, there are too few leaders available to mentor and disciple new believers. As a result, existing leaders are exhausted and overwhelmed from traveling to various villages to lead in worship services. Please ask God to move in the hearts of mature Mountain Yi Christians so they will willingly serve and lead in emerging churches. Pray for Christian workers as they train new leaders to step up into greater responsibilities. Pray that the new believers’ faith will not weaken as they wait for godly leadership.
