| Prayer requests on the website are updated every Monday-Friday at 9:30 a.m., EST June 20, 2014 “Then everyone will fear and will tell about God’s work, for they will understand what He has done.” (Psalm 64:9, HCSB) WORLD LEADER - “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence” (1 Timothy 2:1-2). Please pray today for Prime Minister Lord Tu’ivakano of Tonga (South Pacific Ocean, two thirds way from Hawaii to New Zealand). JAMMU, INDIA (juh-MOO) - There is a small group of potential leaders and Gospel workers who are gathering monthly to grow in discipleship, sharpen their skills as evangelists and church planters, and live in accountability with one another. Please pray that this group will flourish and not be touched by the evil one. Please ask that each one who comes will grow in their walk with the Lord, keep their eyes on Him, and be obedient to what His Word says. Pray that the Lord will shape this group of people into workers who will bring a great harvest to Him and for His glory. MOROCCAN ARABS OF MOROCCO (muh-RAH-kan) - After getting married and moving to a strange, new city where she knew no one, Karima*, a new believer, thought her biggest struggles would be adapting to her new surroundings and adjusting to married life. She never imagined that her biggest stress would be learning to live with her new mother-in-law! From ripping her clothes from the clothesline and refusing to let her close her own door, to questioning everything she does, it seems to Karima that her mother-in-law despises her. How does she keep a Christ-like attitude amid the struggles? Please pray that Karima will find peace in the middle of the storm. “I waited patiently for the LORD, and He turned to me and heard my cry for help” (Psalm 40:1-2, HCSB). Ask that she will be able to show love toward her mother-in-law. Pray that her mother-in-law will see the light in Karima’s life and want to know more, while learning to love her as a daughter.
